Roger was my best male friend in Denton high school. His sister, Diane, was one of my very best female friends. Roger was a great guy, understanding, fun, talkative, very smart, and very handsome. After high school graduation we were out of touch for many years but then resumed our friendship, I think in the 1980s. I saw him occasionally at high school reunions and we maintained telephone contact through the years, seeing each other only on rare occasions.

Unlike many men of our era, Roger was very open about his interests, dilemmas, desires, problems, and aspirations. He shared emotionally, self-disclosing in a very sensitive and compelling way. My heart goes out to all of Roger's family members and friends. I am sure this loss is so painful. I know it is for me. – Sandra Brock

my baby brother I love and miss you -you were smart and funny with a devilish sense of humour and a winning smile-I'm so glad we had some special time together.

Roger was my uncle. As a child, I loved going to visit Uncle Roger, Aunt Gwynn, and my cousins Beth, Blake, Gayle, and Greg and always looked forward to any occasion we could get the families together.

Roger was especially great with us kids. Always fun and funny whether walking the creeks near their house, fishing, camping, and at the pool. He was always kind to me and made me feel welcome in his home. Thank you for that Uncle Roger. I'm sorry we lost touch later in life. Rest in Peace.

Much love and prayers to my cousins.

Love,
Todd
